Portland-Vancouver is foodie heaven, and the byword is “fresh.” Locally grown and raised food caught the attention of the New York Times, which last year lauded regional restaurants and chefs for Portland’s “golden age of dining.” Farmer’s markets offer up not only produce but seafood, artisan cheeses, breads and pastries.
