Bicycling
We like to bike. Portland-Vancouver leads the benchmark metros in bicycle commuting, with 2% of the workforce pedaling to work. The League of American Cyclists blessed greater Portland in 2008 with a platinum rating as a “Bicycle Friendly Community” — the first large U.S. metro to gain that distinction.
